Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. Here is how Josh The AI Guy collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: August 2026
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services, run our classes, and respond to your inquiries.
Information You Provide Directly
- Contact form: Name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), service interest, and your message.
- Class and event registration: Name, email address, phone number, business name, business type or industry, and any free-text answers you give about your business challenges or what you want to learn.
- Payment information: When you pay for a class or a service, you enter your card details directly with our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a record of the purchase, such as the amount, the date, what you bought, and your billing name and email. We never see or store your full card number.
- Class attendance records: Which classes you registered for and whether you attended.
- Post-class feedback: Your answers to feedback surveys we send after a class, including free-text comments.
- Email correspondence: Any information you include when you email us directly.
- Consultation bookings: Name, email, and scheduling preferences.
Information from Social Media Lead Forms
We expect to begin using native lead forms on TikTok, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn. If you submit your details through one of those forms, the platform collects the information you enter and passes it to us. What you share is governed by that platform's own privacy policy up to the point it reaches us. Once we receive it, this policy applies.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, time on page, referring website, browser type, and device information.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. See the section on cookies, analytics, and advertising below.
We do not purchase data about you from data brokers.
How We Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely for legitimate business purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries and consultation requests
- To schedule and conduct consultations
- To register you for classes, send you the details you need to attend, and process your payment
- To tailor class content to the business challenges attendees tell us about
- To provide the services you have requested
- To send follow-up communications related to your inquiry
- To send marketing and educational email to people who have opted in, as described below
- To improve our website, our classes, and our services
- To comply with legal obligations
Marketing Email
We send marketing and educational email to people who opt in, who register for a class, or who purchase a product or service from us. We do not add people to our marketing list who have not done one of those things.
You can stop receiving it at any time:
- Unsubscribe link: Every marketing email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.
- Reply: Reply to any email from us and ask to be removed.
- Email us: Write to Email us and ask to be removed.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional email. Transactional email is the messages you need in order to use what you signed up for, such as payment receipts, class joining details and reminders, recording links, and password resets. If you want to stop those as well, contact us and we will close out your registration.
Live Class Recordings
Our live online classes are delivered over Google Meet and are recorded so that registered attendees can rewatch them afterward.
- Who sees them: Recordings are shared with the people who registered for that class. We do not publish them publicly without asking first.
- Your camera and microphone are optional: You are never required to turn them on. If you prefer not to appear or be heard in the recording, leave them off and ask your questions in the chat.
- What gets captured: If you do turn on your camera or microphone, or type in the chat, that becomes part of the recording. Your display name is visible to other attendees either way.
If you appear in a recording and later want it removed, contact us and we will do what we reasonably can to edit or delete it.
Payments
Payments for class registrations and services are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, receive, or store your card number. We keep only the record of the transaction, such as the amount, date, item purchased, and your billing name and email, which we need for receipts, support, and tax records. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
Data Storage
Your information is stored securely using cloud-based infrastructure provided by GoHighLevel and Supabase, with servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and at rest.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information only as long as we have a reason to, or as long as the law requires:
- Contact and inquiry records: Kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward in case you get back in touch.
- Marketing list records: Kept until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep a minimal record of the fact that you opted out, so that we do not email you again by mistake.
- Class registration and attendance records: Kept while you have access to the class materials and recordings, and for our own records afterward.
- Payment records: Kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which in the United States is generally several years.
- Class recordings: Kept so registered attendees can rewatch them, and deleted when the material is out of date or on request.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time. See the section on your rights below.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to run this website and our business. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:
- Vercel — Website hosting and deployment
- GoHighLevel (HighLevel) — Our customer relationship and marketing platform. It stores contact records, receives form submissions, hosts registration and landing pages, and sends email
- Stripe — Payment processing for class registrations and services
- Mailgun — Email delivery infrastructure used by GoHighLevel. Our marketing and transactional email is sent from the subdomain mg.aiguyjosh.com
- Google Workspace and Google Meet — Business email, and delivery of our live online classes
- Google Analytics — Website traffic and usage measurement
- Supabase — Database and form submission storage
- Resend — Transactional email delivery for website form notifications
- Cal.com — Consultation booking and scheduling
- TikTok, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn — Advertising platforms. We expect to run paid ads and native lead forms on them, as described below
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf in order to run this website and our business, or when we are required to by law.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
This website uses essential cookies required for basic site functionality, such as session management.
We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and how they found us. This tells us what is useful and what is not. We do not use it to identify you personally.
We expect to begin running paid advertising on TikTok and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When we do, our registration and landing pages may carry conversion pixels from those platforms. A conversion pixel is a small piece of code that tells the ad platform that someone who saw our ad went on to register or buy, so we can tell whether the advertising is working. This may involve those platforms setting cookies or receiving information about your visit.
You can opt out of this in several ways:
- Browser settings: Block or delete cookies, or turn on a tracking protection or Do Not Track setting. Most browsers offer these under privacy settings.
- Platform ad preferences: TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, and Google each let you control ad personalization in the settings of your account with them.
- Browser add-ons: Google publishes a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and tracker-blocking extensions will block these pixels as well.
Blocking these does not affect your ability to use the site, register for a class, or contact us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct — Request correction of any inaccurate information
- Delete — Request deletion of your personal data from our systems
- Opt out — Opt out of any future communications from us
To exercise any of these rights, email us at Email us or use our contact page. Tell us what you want us to do and which email address or phone number you gave us, so we can find your records. We will respond to all requests within 30 days. There is no charge for this.
To stop marketing email specifically, the fastest route is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email we send you.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
