How I Got Into AI Consulting
I didn't start out in AI. Like a lot of people down here, I came up working with my hands and figuring things out as I went. But when I got my first look at what AI could do for a business -- automating the tedious stuff, finding customers online, giving people answers at 2 AM without hiring a night shift -- I was hooked.
I dove in headfirst. Spent months learning the tools, testing them on real projects, and figuring out what actually works versus what's just hype. I built websites, set up chatbots, automated workflows, and helped businesses show up in search results -- both on Google and in AI-powered search tools that are changing the game fast.
What I realized pretty quickly is that most AI consultants are chasing enterprise contracts and six-figure deals. Meanwhile, the small business owners I know -- the ones running HVAC companies, dental offices, real estate agencies, restaurants -- they're getting left behind. They know AI matters, but they don't have a 100-person IT department to figure it out. That's where I come in.
I translate AI from tech-speak into plain English, build solutions that work on day one, and charge prices that make sense for businesses that don't have venture capital money. No corporate jargon. No 90-day onboarding processes. Just real solutions for real businesses.
